I was looking at St Paul's Stayley burial records for Kayes. I found Joseph buried Oct 1912. Alice Kayes, his mum, was shown as 1st grave owner, yet it also had Full in the next column. Can anyone explain? Another son James died early 1914 and I'm fairly sure that Alice died at the end of 1914 yet they are not in the grave, I haven't found their burial places. However in 1916 and again in 1917 other sons were buried in the same grave as Joseph. Can anyone shed any light please?

Hello Gay, I'm afraid this is a bit cheeky ! But because I live in Australia , I was wondering if someone might be able to help me with a burial record for 1947 registered Tameside/Stalybridge. Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks Jane

Not always easy to find burial details, but give us as much information as you know, particularly if you know which church they used for baptisms etc and I'll see what I can do when I go into the library next week.
Meanwhile have a look at the link I gave Paul in an earlier question about burials.
