I had a quick try at finding some of the people you listed.
In 1841 William Harrop (b 1796), a hatter, wife Mary (b 1796) and family are living at Denton Lane, Audenshaw. Children listed are John (1828), Elizabeth (1829), Sarah (1832), Charles (1836). Some of the children's christenings also seem to appear on the IGI lists for St Michael's Church, Ashton under Lyne
In 1851 there’s no trace of these people in Ancestry transcriptions, yet they all seem to appear in the 1851 Findmypast transcriptions. Without this information, it’s difficult to progress further because it's a key year and there are several alternatives for each person. You might already have copies of the relevant 1851 census that you can provide or, alternatively, a Forum member who has Findmypast membership might be feeling sufficiently generous to look them up.
The possible 1851 references at Findmypast are:
HARROP, William 1795 56 M Ashton-Under-Lyne Lancashire HARROP, William 1792 59 M Ashton-Under-Lyne Lancashire HARROP, William F Ashton Under Lyne Lancashire HARROP, William 1792 59 M Ashton Under Lyne Lancashire

I’m pretty sure I’ve tracked Ralph Harrop as far as the 1901 census and through three marriages. If I’m right, he was a blacksmith who migrated the short distance to neighbouring Oldham, Lancashire. He's living with his parents and first wife in the 1861 census.
If you think I'm on the right track, I'll do a bit more.
