Hello, In the Cheshire Will Indexes there is an 1881 Will for William Bradley, occupation=Yeoman, location Dukinfield.
In the BMDs for Dukinfield, the likely candidates for the owner of this Will are two William Bradley's. One who died in March Qtr 1880 (11 Feb 1880) at 64y, occupation on DC=gentleman (returnee from USA, he's mine). The other died in June Qtr 1880 at 62y (not mine; I don't have this DC).
In 1871 census William, "gentleman" above, has an occupation of retired coal miner. The other William, above is a grocer.
Which one of these 2 William Bradley's would you think is the likely man in the Will? Bella
