eliza longsden found as widow on 1881 census at 11 barn yard dukinfield does not seem to exist on 1871 or 1861 or 1851 .Husband james dies 1860 so should be on 1851 census but also does not seem to exist anywhere. The births of their children registered to dukinfield. The family search site has them as longsdale but even that is not revealing anything .Has anyone any ideas.

Ill check the 1851 again next time I'm in the library. Can I ask what evidence you have for Eliza's dad?
