Harry died at Bolton on 11 May 1990 and his wife, Rose, in 2004 also at Bolton. As well as Bolton Council, you might try Bolton School where Harry was a former pupil, or the Bolton Evening News (BEN) where there may have been an obituary

Hi All I am Sue Whittle, Harry's eldest daughter - please would everyone note Harry's wife is called Thelma - she is very much alive as are all his 4 children! This is the second time I have seen this misinformation out there - the last time was on twitter after a program I did for Radio Manchester. My mum rang to say she could see this on their blog but had no idea how to intervene - it was gone by the time I got home.
Could anyone who has submitted this info please correct their mistake and direct any interest in my Dad to myself at sue_whittle@yahoo.com - thanks.
My Dad is buried in Bolton Crematorium on Chorley New Road by the way! Sue
